Donations are most welcome and will go directly to our conservation and community projects.
The responsibility of safeguarding Africa’s wildlife is a collective obligation. The continent’s natural resources and diverse animal populations are invaluable assets that enhance our cultural richness. Annually, numerous visitors come to experience our stunning reserves.
Unfortunately, many species face serious threats, including habitat destruction, displacement from protected areas, and harm due to unfounded medicinal beliefs. It is imperative that we take action against poaching, trafficking, and ecological degradation.
Together, we can make a meaningful impact. We invite you to join us in protecting these extraordinary animals and their habitats.
The Richard Fisher Foundation is a registered NPC in South Africa: ‘2022/546868/08’
Registered with the Dept. of Social Development as a Non-Profit Organization: 281-660 NPO
The Fisher Foundation is focused on education in conservation among the youth (ages 12 -14) who live in communities adjacent to Southern Africa’s national parks and protected wildlife areas.
We have found that this critical juncture in the lives of our youth is when world views are being formed and is the most appropriate age for introducing them to a conservation mindset.
We do not, at this stage, fund individuals, other foundations and/or programmes that do not fall within our scope and vision.
We, as a foundation, work with carefully selected organisations with a view to longer-term relationships and have found that this is the best way forward to bring about sustainable change.
